Marc is a children’s illustrator from Prince Edward County, Ontario. His bright, crisp art has graced comics, magazines, books, video games and all corners of the internet.
Although Marc began his career studying journalism at La Cité collégiale in Ottawa, illustration suits him much better. With life-long experience as an artist and post-secondary training as a journalist, he’s crafted a career focused on communicating complex information with revelatory illustrations and distilled language.
His first grown-up illustration gig was at TVOntario, where he was responsible for the award-winning TVOKids.com web site. Since then, Marc has been seen around the halls of the CBC, Dairy Farmers of Canada, Tumblebooks and the The Hospital for Sick Children.
Marc has produced a colourful poster series, reminiscent of travel posters from the ‘50s, depicting among other places, Picton, Bloomfield, Point Petre and Wellington. The Local Store is carrying the current 8 posters in the Prince Edward County series. Marc promises that the series it not complete so we are looking forward to more still to come!
