Dianne Kehoe is a painter, artist and designer who has been creating eye-catching visuals all her life.
“I see, feel, and seek to continually explore the beauty of forms, lines, colour, texture, light and events that happen around me… and delight in the feeling of brush on canvas (or paper).”
Born and raised in Montreal, Dianne was surrounded by an artistic and musical family where drawing and painting were everyday pastimes and practices. Her love of fine art started there, but Dianne is also an accomplished and talented graphic designer and art director, having worked with studios and advertising agencies in Toronto in her early career. Later, her very entrepreneurial nature guided her to strike out on her own, where she built and managed her own successful design business for more than twenty-five years. Throughout her career, and years raising her own family, she continued painting and studying art, developing her own unique style.
In 2016, with huge changes in her life taking place, and unwavering support for her artistic talent from her partner, she decided it was time to switch gears to pursue her love of painting – full time! Together they bought a beautiful rural property and home in Prince Edward County with “fabulous art studio and gallery space”.
She looks forward to years of painting, showing, and sharing her expressions in art in galleries, shops and venues, as well as from her own studio in “The County”.
“Art is a human act. Art is risky. Generous. Courageous. Provocative.
You can be perfect, …or you can make art!”
– Eric Wahl (American graffiti artist, speed-painter, author, motivational speaker and entrepreneur)
