Residing in Wellington, Ontario, John has been carving for over 35 years. He carves Canadian Birds, duck decoys, shorebirds and folk art.
Prior to moving to Wellington in 1995, John and his wife Phyllis lived in Ottawa for over 20 years. Many of his carvings have gone to embassies; most done to represent Canadian wildlife. A great deal of his work is done by special order. The Honourable Jeanne Sauvé., a past Canadian Governor General had a collection of his work. John is in his 90th year, and still going strong!
