“The Pity of The Winds” ~ Robin Timmerman

Robin Timmerman, a member of Crime Writers of Canada,  lives with her family her in The County.  Her Middle Island mystery novels feature young police officer Pete Jakes and his Turkish-born wife Ali.  Jakes, a former Canadian soldier, has decided to look for peace as a cop in rural Ontario.  This being a murder mystery series, the Jakes find anything but!

Robin is a graduate of the writing course at the Humber School of Writing.  She has published articles in Life Before Medicare and the journal Labour/Le Travail. She has also worked as a free-lance reporter for her local newspaper The Picton Gazette.
