Hand Painted European Wooden Trinket/Snuff Box

These two are European antique wooden boxes with a hand-painted mountain landscapes. Each box has a pegged construction and is European in origin.  I believe the box dates to the period of the late 19th to the early 20th century. Very fine antique condition with some dirt and spots of paint loss to the scene on the lid.  The box could have been made as a travel souvenir, for snuff or for another tobacciana purpose. The hand-painted folk art box may have also been a decorative tourist souvenir. The price is for each.
