In 1925, the Sprague family established a seasonal cannery in Mountain View, Prince Edward County, dedicated to preserving locally grown vegetables. Since then, we have been crafting organic and natural Canadian food products in the Bay of Quinte Region. Now in our fifth generation and operating our third cannery, we continue to expand our line of soups and bean-based products under the Sprague brand, while also producing for select private labels.

We proudly distribute our products across Canada and the United States, maintaining a strong commitment to sourcing premium ingredients, locally and from Canada whenever possible. Our focus is on authentic taste, health, and nutrition. We believe that great-tasting meals start with real ingredients, which is why we use only simple, natural ones, like you’d find in your own kitchen.
