“Peaceful Loon” ~ Glass Sculpture – Mats Jonasson – Sweden

This is a Mats Jonasson crystal loon sculpture/paperweight called Peaceful Loon (33571).  It is a heavy, lead crystal sculpture made in Sweden signed and numbered.  The loon and reeds design is intricately engraved on the back side of the clear crystal block, creating a three-dimensional effect when viewed from the front.  Mats Jonasson is a renowned Swedish glass artist known for his detailed wildlife designs.
