Honey Pie Hives started their small, farm based honey and herb business in the spring of 2000 in Milford.  Bay and Gavin found that the mysterious and fascinating honey bee is a constant source of inspiration to them. Many of the same flowers that the bees collect nectar from can be used in herbal preparations to ensure health and well being in humans.

They keep bees and grow herbs . They combine beeswax and propolis with herbs to make natural healthful products.  The sandy soil of their farm and the lake effect combine to make ideal growing conditions for many of the herbs they use in all of their products. All of their products are made by hand in a workshop in a straw bale farmhouse ~except for the honey which is made by the bees!
