I have been knitting, sewing, quilting, spinning, or otherwise making something since I was about 10 years old. I have designed knitwear and patterns for a yarn house in Toronto; you can still find my knitting patterns online and in shops, and one of them even made it into Vogue Knitting as an advertisement for a yarn company! In recent years I began quilting and somehow became addicted to making bags, especially once I discovered cork fabric. I use only upholstery grade cork that is sourced from Portugal. This cork product is eco-friendly, sustainable, PETA approved, easy to care for, and very durable. I pride myself on making one-of-a-kind bags and wallets, using only the finest cork, leather, hardware, and fabrics.
