Mercedes Crowe

I grew up surrounded by my family’s  farmland in Prince Edward County. My family has
been in The County for 12 generations. I use the pottery wheel to create all of my forms. My artwork is inspired by the warm, earthy tones of surrounding nature and crops. I incorporate
these details into my pottery through different carving techniques.
