I have always enjoyed working with wood however I began focusing my efforts on Woodturning over 20 years ago.  I derive a great deal of satisfaction in shaping a piece of wood that otherwise would have been discarded, and turning it into an art form that can be functional as well as decorative.

My work is primarily turned pieces such as Bowls, Hollow Vessels, Christmas Tree Ornaments, Bottle Stoppers, Rolling Pins, Salt & Pepper Mills as well as some non-turned items such as Charcuterie/Cutting Boards. These items are made from various native woods as well as some exotic woods and vary in both shape and size. Many of the pieces I make are a combination of various woods, laminated and turned to create a form that is visually appealing. The natural beauty and warmth of the wood is reflected in every piece and is evident in their individual personality making them a one of a kind treasure.

Every piece is a new experience from the time I begin turning until I am finished.
