Robert Yardley

Robert Yardley was born just a few kilometers down the road from The Local Store, in Westlake, Prince Edward County.

Robert is an elderly gentleman that The Local Store is very proud to have his work.  Robert makes amazing pieces of furniture: tables, chests, cupboards and chairs out of reclaimed woods from barns, old houses and driftwood.

Often his pieces are named after specific places in Prince Edward County.  He is very specific, and wants only authentic locations; nothing made up because someone wants it.

These one of kind heirloom pieces are to be enjoyed and then passed on for future generations as a genuine piece of County history.
