1 – Patrona Bavaria – Baveria : With the name Patrona Bavariae (Patroness of Bavaria ), the Mother of God Mary, is venerated as the patron siant of Bavarian  Iconically  she corresponds to a cresent moon Madonna.  While an intensive veneration of the Virgin Mary has been known in Bavaria since the earliest times, the formal recognition of Mary as patroness of Bavaria was only pronounced by Pope Benedict XV  in 1916.

2  S IRMGARD VOM CHIEMSEE -In art, she is depicted in the habit of the Benedictine nuns, crowned with a book of rules and an abbot’s staff, or with a heart  in her hand. A bell and the campanile of the Fraueninsel are also among her attributes.  Daughter of King  Louis the German, and his wife the Welf Princess Hemma and thus a great-granddaughter of Charlemagne
