Chow Chow Relish ~ Canadian Version

Green Tomato Chow Chow is a type of tangy pickled relish is a great topping for hot dogs, burgers, BBQ pork sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, fish cakes – basically all kinds of great things.

There are a few types of Chow Chow.  In addition to the two varieties found in the U.S., there is also a Canadian version found primarily in the Maritime provinces, which is made almost entirely from green tomatoes and onions which is what this type is.
