Cobalt Blue “Fish Family” Decanter Carafe Drinking Set ~ Soviet Russia ~ Ukraine

This is a vintage Soviet / Ukrainian porcelain “Fish Family” Decanter Drinking set.  

Porcelain cobalt blue with orange and gold. Rustic decor farmhouse tableware Vodka glasses crockery from the  mid century 1960-70s USSR. The set includes a large fish decanter/ carafe with lid and five smaller fish shot glasses (one has small chip on rim). It was designed in 1955 by Georgian artist Abesalom Baramidze and produced by factories in the USSR, such as the Polonne Porcelain Factory in Ukraine. The set is often used for serving strong spirits like vodka, brandy, or whiskey.  These sets were widely available in the former Soviet space and are popular collectibles.
