Coro Bell Flower Duette Trembler Clip Brooch ~

$145.00

Rare Coro Bellflower Duette, with green enameling, clear rhinestones and clear tremblant pistels. A trembler jewelry or en tremblant as it is known in French is a form of motion jewelry where a part of the piece bounces or shakes slightly when the wearer moves. This motion draws attention to the piece and can be fun to watch and fun to wear.

They are not shoe clips, as some might think, as they are too delicate… but rather they are each clipped to one side of your blazer or jacket or coat collar.

Although unsigned, it is unmistakably designed by Adolph Katz in the late 1930s. It is in excellent vintage condition, no missing stones, some slightly darkened stones as to be expected in a piece of this vintage. Duette clips are tight and enamel and rhodium plating is in excellent condition. The large pin that would combine it into a single brooch is missing and priced accordingly.

3 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ at its widest. A true collectors piece.
