The Mt. Washington Glass Company, established in 1837 in South Boston and later New Bedford, MA (1870), is the primary maker of antique Mt. Washington glass cream and sugar sets. These sets, often in Burmese or opal glass, were frequently decorated by the Smith Brothers.
