Native American – Indigenous “Indian” with Bow & Arrow Sterling Letter Opener – American hallmarks

$145.00

Sterling silver hallmarked letter opener – excellent condition.  Attributed to American maker Chas Robbins who was known for spoons and medals.  We cannot find any of his work that includes a letter opener, but some of his medals that he was commissioned to make did have the head of a native American on them.  The hallmarks suggest an earlier period of his work perhaps the early part of the 20th century.

It measures 20 cm in total length (approx 7.8 inches).  The detail of the figure is very well done.  It is stamped STERLING with Robbins hallmarks beneath.
