Great medallion from 1941 to show support for America and Allies!   No attempt at cleaning made, shows some wear from age as seen in pictures.

(Paul Manship)Obverse depicts Saint George on a grand horse, dressed in knight’s armor and a cape, slaying a dragon inscribed with a Nazi swastika. St George’s lance goes points straight to the swastika. Legend around: ··SAINT GEORGE··/ OF ENGLAND. Proceeds of the sale of the this medal raised funds for the British-American Ambulance Corps., Inc. in aid to Britain.
